You’re not going to believe what I’m going to tell you! It is something that may assist you in your daily life, and it is also free of charge. It is a tool where you can get answers to both technical and non-technical responses.
Many people also believe it can take the place of Google. If you’re still wondering what tool I’m referring to, allow me to reveal the mystery. It is all about the newly developed AI-based Chat-Bot known as ChatGPT.
It is a tool that was recently launched in November 2022 by OpenAI, which is an artificial intelligence research group.
From the day of its launching, it has drawn a huge interest of large people. Although this chatbot is still in the beta stage having I mentioned earlier it has the potential of replacing google one day.
Despite its enormous potential, hardly many people are aware of ChatGPT. If you’re reading this blog, you might also not know much about it or know very little about it.
So, in this blog, I’ll unravel the unique characteristics of ChatGPT and attempt to explain what makes it so unique and different from other chatbots. Let’s begin, then, without further ado.
What is ChatGPT?
Before moving forward, let’s first know what ChatGPT is all about.
ChatGPT is an OpenAI-developed variation of the GPT-3 language generation model. It is particularly made to handle chat and discussion, and it has been trained on a big sample of chat and dialogue data.
ChatGPT can produce text that resembles human speech in several languages and writing styles, much like earlier GPT-3 versions. It may be used to create text in a chat-like format for various purposes or to respond to user input in chatbot apps.
In simpler terms, ChatGPT is a chatbot where users can enter their queries and then find their answers in the form of replies made by ChatGPT using its artificial intelligence.

Feature of ChatGPT
1. Writing Code
It is one of the cool features of this tool; whether you are a developer, coder, or still in the learning phase, it will help in every aspect. You must only specify on which topic code is required.
By just mentioning it, an entire code will be automatically generated by ChatGPT. Apart from that, if you need specific code in a specific language, then you just need to mention the coding language.
For example, I mentioned that I want a code in the Python language for bubble sorting the number entered by the user. By mentioning this, I obtained code that is error-free after compilation.
2. Debugging code
Just like writing code, ChatGPT is also useful in debugging the code. It will come in handy for users who use Notepad as a compiler, where finding errors is much more difficult than with other compilers.
For debugging it, you just need to copy and paste your code into ChatGPT and then mention you want to debug the code.
After checking each line thoroughly, it will let you know where the problem is. Apart from this, it will also come up with a solution to the problem.
3. Virtual Study Buddy
This feature is awesome for students because ChatGPT can act as a student’s virtual study partner.
To use this feature, students simply need to type “Learn” and specify the topic they want to learn about. ChatGPT will then provide them with materials and practice questions related to that topic.
This can be a useful tool for students looking to supplement their traditional education and improve their understanding of a particular subject.
4. Complex Topic Explanation
A complex topic is multidimensional and has several components or features. Additionally, it could be challenging to comprehend or take a high degree of education or skill to properly grasp.
ChatGPT assists in this area as well since it makes it simple to learn extremely complicated topics. Simply type the subject you want to address and hit enter.
With the topic, you can give a prompt like “help me understand in simple terms” or “explain as if I were a five-year-old or a fourth-grade student.” By giving such prompts, you can find the explanation of the topic in a very easy manner.
There are no restrictions on the issue for which you seek an explanation. You can choose a topic from a wide range of disciplines, such as physics, math, philosophy, politics, and much more.

Math-related topics are another area in which ChatGPT excels. There is always a challenge when it comes to math subjects for students. Sometimes it might be challenging to come up with a specific solution to a problem.
To find a solution to any problem, you just need to write down the problem in the ChatGPT and then enter it. A suitable result would show up based on the data pattern that ChatGPT was trained on.
In addition to offering a solution for the problem, the ChatGPT also offers the necessary explanations. Other than that, it can also give you an example related to the mentioned problem.

Writing that is intended to be inventive and expressive is known as creative writing. It lets you utilise your imagination and creativity to create stories, poetry, and other written works.
ChatGPT has a wide area of expertise in creative writing. It can generate content such as poems, story plotlines, music and lyrics, movie scripts, and videos for YouTube, TikTok, and other platforms.
For example, I mention the topic for short stories as “A man who travelled through time,” and here is what I got as a result.
7. Resume Writing
If you’re looking for a job, one of the most crucial duties is drafting your resume. The ChatGPT can also be beneficial in these contexts. The following are some of the benefits of using ChatGPT for you:
- Formatting: ChaGPT can automatically format your resume to make it appear clean and professional.
- Suggesting language: ChatGPT might offer language suggestions to assist you in more successfully describing your abilities and experiences.
- Checking for errors: To assist guarantee that your resume is error-free, ChatGPT may scan it for spelling and punctuation mistakes.
- Providing templates: ChatGPT may provide resume templates that you may use as a starting point for your resume.
Overall, using ChatGPT can help save you time and effort when creating your resume, and can also help you create a more professional and effective document
Limitation of the ChatGPT
Just like any other AI tool ChatGPT also have some limitation. The limitation of chatGPT are as mentioned below:-
- GPT is only as good as the data it was trained on. If the training data is biased or contains errors, the outputs generated by GPT may also be biased or contain errors.
- GPT is not able to reason or draw conclusions in the same way that a human can. It can only generate text based on patterns it has learned from the training data.
- GPT is not able to provide personalized or context-specific responses. It can only generate responses based on the input it receives, and it does not have access to external information or the ability to browse the internet.
- GPT is not able to understand or generate emotional or empathetic responses. It cannot sense or respond to emotions in the same way that a human can
Apart from this, I also tried to extract the limitations of ChatGPT from chatbot itself, and here is what I got in reply.

I can only provide information that I have been programmed to know and respond to the best of my ability based on the inputs I receive. I cannot browse the internet or access new information beyond what I was trained on”
